Capcom unveils the collector's edition of Resident Evil 2

Fans can choose between the standard version, the Deluxe Edition, and this expensive caprice.

Taking advantage of the San Diego Comic-Con stage, Capcom has released new details about the long-awaited remake of Resident Evil 2, including the art of the cover and the special editions of the game: a Deluxe Edition and a collector's edition. They can be purchased on January 25, 2019, in exchange for 69.99 and 199.99 dollars, respectively.

According to those responsible, they wanted to give Leon a younger appearance to represent that it was his first day of work, while for Claire Redfield they used the look of the iconic scene where Raccoon enters on a motorcycle. In the case of Raccoon City itself, Capcom took advantage of the possibilities of the RE Engine with a "dark and damp" environment that also moved to the zombies themselves.

Steam advanced weeks ago the Deluxe Edition of Resident Evil 2, which includes the base game, numerous character skins and the soundtrack of the original version of 1998 to play in the game. The collector's edition can only be purchased on GameStop and EBGames in the US, and only on PS4 and Xbox One. There has been no talk of a launch in Europe. We detail their contents below.
