Remedy: we all want to see a new Alan Wake game

The company was not very clear about the future of the IPnew Alan Wake game

The remedy is currently working on Control, his new title he presented at E3 2018. However, the company is remembered for games like Max Payne and Quantum Break. Also, his fans hope to see at some point a sequel to Alan Wake, the title that debuted in 2010 with great results.

Despite this, Remedy has not given specific details about a possible continuation of its IP. Mikael Kasurinen, a member of the study, spoke about Remedy's past during a conversation with DualShokers .

As expected, Kasurinen touched on Alan Wake. The creative was questioned about the decision to work on a new IP instead of taking up the story of the writer who visits Bright Falls.

In Kasurinen's words, the Remedy team is interested in doing something with Alan Wake. However, the creative's response was somewhat ambiguous about the future of the game.

"We have Alan Wake's IP, yes. I just want to say that she is very dear to us and close to our hearts. We all love Alan Wake in Remedy and I think we all want to see a new Alan Wake game, "acknowledged Kasurinen.

Unfortunately, the studio member did not give details of whether they prepare anything or only focus on the release of Control. "I can not talk about that anymore. We'll see what happens with Alan Wake later, but we all want to see it happen, absolutely, "added the creative.

While Kasurinen did not confirm the release of a new game in the series, it is certainly good to know that Remedy still considers it a possibility to develop a title to further expand the world and the narrative of Alan Wake.

As for Control, we know that it will be a kind of open world Metroidvania. The game is scheduled to debut on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC sometime in 2019.
