Nomura contemplates DLC for Kingdom Hearts III

The creative opposes the implementation of a Season Pass

Square Enix finally revealed the release date and various advances of Kingdom Hearts III. Everything indicates that the company has plans for Sora and company's adventure to be the most extensive so far.

This is because Tetsuya Nomura, the game's director, has ideas for releasing post-release content for Kingdom Hearts III. During a meeting with Game Informer, the developer said he is willing to create DLC.

Despite this, you should not worry, because Nomura does not want to fall for certain current practices that are not to the liking of most players. What we mean is that the creative is opposed to the implementation of a Season Pass, which gives access to all post-release content.

"I want to see DLC after the [launch], but nothing has solidified or decided on what we want to do or what we will do, I do not think I'll ever release a season pass, because I'm not fond of that model," Nomura said.

The developer did not detail anything that we could see in the hypothetical RPG of the RPG. He only made it clear that his intention is for players to enjoy Kingdom Hearts III for as long as possible.

Currently, Nomura focuses on Kingdom Hearts III has a successful launch, hence it is not clear if there will be post-release content and the kind of adventures that could offer.

During E3 2018, we knew that the game will feature a world of Frozen and another of Pirates of the Caribbean. We also learned the content of its Deluxe edition, which will debut on the same day as the standard edition.

Kingdom Hearts III will arrive on January 29, 2019, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
