Fils-Aime finds previous leaks to E3 2018 disappointing

The director of Nintendo believes that it is increasingly difficult to keep everything secretReggie Fils-Aime,

It is a fact that E3 2018 brought us great surprises; however, this year's event was marked by significant leaks. From the perspective of many players, this took away emotion from the event and the official revelations.

Nintendo, like other companies, was affected by the pre-event leaks. For this reason, Reggie Fils-Aime, president of Nintendo of America, spoke on the subject and pointed out how they affected the expectations put in E3 2018.

"As a company, we want to surprise and delight our fans, that's what we live for, so when leaks happen, it's really disappointing, we work hard to maintain the confidentiality of our information," said Fils-Aime.

From the perspective of the manager, this not only affects the players, it also has an impact on the relationship of the company and its partners. On the other hand, the surprise factor is always important for the community before events such as E3.

Fils-Aime said that it is harder and harder to keep everything secret. On the subject, the Nintendo member commented: "Currently, where everyone has a camera and everyone is looking for their 10 seconds of fame on the Internet, it is really difficult. We try, we really strive to keep our information confidential and prevent leaks from happening, "added the manager.

Finally, Fils-Aime spoke briefly about the support that Switch receives and will receive in the future from other companies. According to him, the developers are currently looking for a considerable base of active players, which implies a significant number of consoles in the market.

Fils-Aime said that Switch has both features, so surely more and more important titles will reach the console. Fils-Aime said earlier that they expect more ports to arrive soon to their new system.

Currently, we know that Panic Button, responsible for its version of DOOM and Wolfenstein II, works in an important port not confirmed for the console.
