Nihon Falcom has big plans for some of his most popular series. As part of one of its financial reports, the company shared interesting information for all its followers.

For starters, Falcom said he has plans to make Tokyo Xanadu a franchise. The game originally debuted for PlayStation Vita in 2015. Subsequently, the studio developed Tokyo Xanadu eX +, an improved version for PlayStation 4 and PC.

If you liked any of the titles, take into account that surely in the future we will see more deliveries, at least that is what the company and its president Toshihiro Kondo plans. The company assured that the title was well received, so it has all the potential needed to be a franchise.

On the other hand, Falcom revealed that its Trails series already exceeds 3.5 million units sold. In this franchise are the 3 deliveries of Trails of Cold Steel, which already exceed 1.3 million copies sold worldwide.

Regarding its Ys series, the company commented that it is still well received, not only in Japan but also in America, where each delivery sells between 200,000 and 300,000 units.

Falcom plans to continue with its launch scheme, which consists of at least releasing one RPG each year. The study has about 50 employees, a small amount if you take the scope of your projects. Its launch flow is due to a small staff but very efficient and trained.

Currently, the company is working on the release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana for Nintendo Switch, as well as on The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV, a release that will close its popular RPG series.

To make matters worse, it also develops remasters of the first installments of Trails of Cold Steel and a mobile title called The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Kizuna.
