The Predator Helios 500 of Acer bet by the high range of AMD

It is the most powerful AMD-based notebook to date.

Intel and Nvidia are the queens of the notebook market to play, with a Nvidia whose cards have a performance-energy consumption ratio ideal for battery-powered equipment. With the release of Ryzen and Vega, AMD has made a great leap in regards to the game on the portable PC, especially thanks to the Ryzen + Vega APU. Although what has interested Acer for its Predator Helios 500 are the processors and high-end graphics cards from AMD. The new Acer notebook will have a Ryzen 2700 eight-core and a Radeon RX Vega 56, in addition to a large screen of 17.3 inches 1080p at 133 Hz and FreeSync technology.

The Intel and Nvidia version uses a six-core i7-8750H processor and a GTX 1070 to move everything. Besides, it has 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB SSD and 2 TB HDD to handle storage. With these features, both the "red version" and the "blue and green version" have capabilities both in the high-end game arena and in the workstation. Running without a plug should not take long to drain your battery, but it's interesting to see a laptop move eight Ryzen cores.
