Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will debut on PC next week

NIS America revealed the rewards for acquiring the RPG in its launch week

A large number of fans await the arrival of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana to PC. Unfortunately, the title was delayed a couple of times due to technical and location problems.

NIS America recently stated that the optimization works were on track, so they estimated a launch sometime this month. The company does not want to disappoint the players again so it will keep its word.

So, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will debut on PC next week. The Falcom RPG will be available on Steam and GOG from next April 16. To compensate for the delay, NIS America will offer some rewards to everyone who acquires the game during its premiere week.

Among them is Adol's Adventure Essentials, DLC that includes Silver Armor and Adventurer's Clothes. In addition, fans will receive a small art book in digital format, a sample of their soundtrack and the Eternian Scholar outfit for Laxia.

The PC version will include the location enhancements that arrived on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita through an update. This includes changes to the script, in the name of some objects, enemies, terminology in general, as well as new voice acting.

NIS America promised that the game will reach fully optimized PC so there will be no performance problems. Once the title debuts on PC, only its release on Nintendo Switch will be pending on June 26.

At the moment, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is only available on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
