Nintendo Switch was the best-selling console of the week in Japan

Kirby: Star Allies returns to the top in a week without major releases

Following the tradition of every Wednesday, Media Create shared its weekly report on hardware and software sales in Japanese stores. Thanks to this we know that Nintendo Switch spent more days as the most popular console in the region.

According to Media Create, between 2 and 8 April, 40,016 units of Nintendo Switch were sold. While it is less than the number of hybrid consoles that Nintendo shipped last week (44.033) it was enough to reach the top spot in the popularity chart. Following in his footsteps are the regular model of the PlayStation 4 and the New Nintendo 2DS XL.
