Multiplayer Stardew Valley could debut soon

Eric Barone revealed the order in which the mode will reach PCs and consoles

For a long time, Stardew Valley players have begged for a multiplayer mode that takes the experience to a new level that can be enjoyed in conjunction with friends and other users. After stating that he was already working on that section, Eric Barone revealed that his arrival is close.

Eric Barone, the creator of Stardew Valley, reported in his official Twitter account that the development work of the multiplayer component of the simulator is on track and if everything goes as it is, it is possible that it will arrive in a month. Obviously, the publication of Barone ignited the hype of the players, who did not take long to celebrate the announcement and question the creative about the new way that will come with the next update. In that sense, Barone assured that it will be a free update and informed that it will first reach the PC, Mac, and Linux versions. Later, the multiplayer mode of Stardew Valley will arrive at Switch and later it will do it in PS4 and Xbox One. It is important to mention that this mode will have an open Beta phase soon, so we must be on the lookout for an announcement about it.

The fact that Switch is the second platform that will receive the multiplayer of Stardew Valley is due to the success that the game has had on the console, where it has been placed as the most downloaded title of the eShop.

Stardew Valley is available on PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
