Mega Man X3 of SNES will be in the Mega Man X Legacy Collection

Capcom confirmed that the selected version will be the original

When a compilation or relaunch of old games is announced, the fans wait for the original content, however, sometimes this can not be done for licensing reasons or problems with the code of the first version. Now that Mega Man X Legacy Collection has been announced, some Blue Bomber enthusiasts showed their concern about Mega Man X3 and the version that will include the collection. Today Capcom responded to his concern.

Capcom reported that the version of Mega Man X3 that will be part of the first installment of the Mega Man X Legacy Collection will be that of SNES, which debuted in Japan in 1995 and in America in 1996. The company made this information public through a representative for giving certainty to those who had doubts about it. Mega Man X3 debuted on SNES and later had ports for PlayStation, SEGA Saturn, and Windows; the original version of the Nintendo console was received in a good way, not so the ports were criticized for their optimization failures and problems in their visual and audio performance.

The fear of the users was based on the launch of the first collection of the series, Mega Man X Collection, which debuted in 2006 for PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube. On that occasion, the version of Mega Man X3 that was integrated was that of the ports and not the original SNES, a situation that annoyed the players.

In this way, users can rest assured they will know that when they play Mega Man X3 in the Mega Man X Legacy Collection it will be the original version.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 will arrive on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC on July 24.
