Improve stability and performance of Far Cry 5 on PC

The console version will also receive adjustments next week

Far Cry 5 has been well received by the players, so Ubisoft wants the good response from the community to continue. For this reason, they prepared some stability and performance adjustments for the game on PC.

The new update optimizes various sections of the title and will be downloaded automatically in both Uplay and Steam. The update fixes some bugs not detailed, avoids the corruption of files saved and any failure of performance.

On the other hand, the section of artificial intelligence was improved, inconveniences were eliminated to buy silver bars and the progression of missions was improved. Regarding the gameplay and the user interface, minor errors were corrected.

There were also adjustments in the online and cooperative modality. The update notes indicate general connectivity improvements so there will be no interruptions or communication problems where players were silenced permanently.

As for Far Cry Arcade, the efficiency of downloading maps, some textures that looked bad, the matchmaking system and the lobby section were optimized. In addition, you will no longer have problems with blocks in the map editor of this mode.

Take into account that the update is only available for the moment on PC. The good news is that it will also come to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, console users must wait a little longer, because the update will be released next Monday, April 9.

Far Cry 5 had a very good debut in several parts of the world, including the United Kingdom and Japan. This installment is already the fastest sold of the entire franchise and is the second most successful release of Ubisoft.
