Filtration ensures that Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is in development

According to a statement, the Ubisoft Massive shooter will be present at E3 2018

Although not everything has been honey on chips, Ubisoft can say that Tom Clancy's The Division has been a successful project that has attracted millions of players. This is why it is not at all a surprise to know that it will have a sequel, which is already in development.

We know this thanks to the Tom Clancy's The Division 2 logo being leaked through the Ubisoft servers. This drew the attention of several users of ResetEra, who found an alleged press release that talks about the current state of Tom Clancy's The Division and reveals that its sequel is already in development.

The announcement informs that the development of Division 2 is commanded by Massive Entertainment, but also has the collaboration of Ubisoft Annecy, Redstorm, Reflections, Ubisoft Bucharest and Ubisoft Shanghai. The project will be done in an updated version of Snowdrop Engine which will allow the studios to "realize" the vision they have.

In the end, the study mentions that it can not wait to show the content of Division 2 that they are preparing for E3 2018. With this in mind, it is likely that the project will be shown for the first time in this important video game event.

Something that caught our attention is that the statement states that, starting in June, The Division players will have the opportunity to achieve achievements called Shield to unlock content for The Division 2. In addition, it indicates that the first delivery will receive 2 more updates: one of them will add support for Xbox One X and the other will add new global events.

To finish, we want to point out that Ubisoft has not confirmed if this filtration is real. That said, we'll keep an eye on it and update the note when the distributor makes a comment about it.
