Amazon bets on the competitive game with GameOn

It is a service that will make it easier for developers to create multiplatform competitions.

Amazon wants to enhance the competitive game between multiple platforms and, to help developers to achieve it, the Internet giant has presented its GameOn service, which will even offer options for physical rewards to players, being distributed by Amazon itself.

For now, only in the United States, thanks to GameOn, developers will be able to easily integrate competitions and tournaments in their own video games of PC, consoles or mobile devices, using a set of flexible APIs. It's great attraction? The total control by the developers, who will be able to manage all the aspects related to the competition.

GameOn allows you to create leagues and tournaments, use multi-platform classifying tables, establish events with very particular characteristics, or even give fans the option to create their own competitions themselves, being they responsible for inviting participants. "We have created GameOn to give developers simple but powerful tools that allow them to create and expand ties with their community through competitive gaming," they say from Amazon.

Developers can use the GameOn API for free until May 1 of this year; thereafter, a six-month trial period will be available, ending with a fee of $ 0.003 per item.
