Games News - This is how the Assassin's Creed: Origins educational mode looks

The mode will arrive tomorrow to PS4, Xbox One and PC

After months of waiting, tomorrow will The Discovery Tour, educational mode for Assassin's Creed: Origins that will let you explore Ancient Egypt and learn more about it. To celebrate, Ubisoft shared a launch preview in which it shows how it is and explains its importance.

In the footage that Ubisoft shared on his YouTube channel, he shows us some scenes from The Discovery Tour. So, it is clear that this is a modality that disappears all the action and the combat of Assassin's Creed: Origins so that players enjoy an educational modality in which they can know the world at their rhyme and without any concern.

In the advance, members of the development team of Assassin's Creed: Origins explain that it is a tool that several teachers asked them, since they consider it a good way to attract young people to world history. So, they spent time thinking of a way to create something that would appeal to students and players. With this objective they built an interactive tool that presents several educational tours that teach about the different elements of the ancient Egyptian society.

"As we play, we decide what is going to happen, we think and act according to those thoughts," says Marc-Andr√© √Čthier, history professor at the University of Montreal. "We are hooked because the world is interesting and beautiful, but also because we are participants in this world. If a student is already interested in the details of this world and has someone to guide them through them, then we can maximize learning. This means that a student can use these tours to learn a lot without the need for someone to say 'you must learn this,' "he said.
