Dragon Ball FighterZ will receive new modalities

Next update for the fighting game will arrive this week

Some time ago we told you that a fan broke the boundaries of Dragon Ball FighterZ and discovered the existence of 2 mysterious islands that seemed to suggest that new game modes were on the way. If that possibility touched you, you should know that Bandai Namco has already confirmed that they will arrive as part of a free update.

The distributor announced that on May 9 will come a free update for Dragon Ball FighterZ , which will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. In addition to presenting balance changes and fixing problems present in the game, the update will add new features such as 2 new game modes: FighterZ Cup and Party Battle.

As you can imagine, FighterZ Cup will be a tournament mode in which each month players can compete to get points for their Z-Union. On the other hand, Party Battle will offer cooperative battles where 3 players must join forces to defeat "fearsome bosses".

At the moment, Bandai Namco Entertainment has not shared more details about these modalities. So, it seems that we will have to wait for the premiere of this update to see them in action and learn more about them.
How about? Are you excited about the arrival of this update for Dragon Ball FighterZ ? Tell us in the comments.

Keep in mind that this update is not the latest news that will come to Dragon Ball FighterZ . What we are referring to is that there are still more downloadable characters on the way to the Arc System Works project. What we mean is that Zamasu Fusionado and Vegetto Blue will join their roster.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
